How it works
- percenters.com uses your question's keywords to direct your question to the members most likely to have the expertise to answer it
- Your profile is focused on impressing potential clients and customers
- When you've answered about 20 questions, you begin earning revenue from Google ads
For those with questions
percenters.com connects you with a group of members who are most likely to be able to answer your question.
These members are chosen by matching their backgrounds and site activity with the question keywords and category.
You can also change the question keywords to more effectively find the members with the expertise your need.
You are also connected with members who have proven their expertise in the question category.
Alternatively, if you can post a question that can be answered by anyone.
You can even post you question to a particular user.
And percenters.com has an internal messaging system - you don't give out your email to other users unless you want to.
For those with Answers
Build a profile that impresses potential clients, customers and employers.
Just sign up and start answering questions
Immediately you begin to accumulate a score based on site participation and user feedback.
Your profile presents your site activity based on question category, feedback from all the members that you've helped and all the questions that you've asked and answered.
And when you've answered about 20 questions, you are promoted to a percenter.
Site pages which list questions in a particular category will display your username as a proven expert in that category.
Earn Revenue
Once you are promoted to a percenter you will be sent an email inviting you to open a Google AdSense account. This account will allow you to earn revenue from your site contributions.
Ads appear on all profile pages as well as on all question pages.
Revenue generated by open questions is divided among all the percenters who have answered it.
And when you close a question, that question becomes yours to monetize.
You receive half of the revenue that is generated from ads that appear on your profile page, as well as on the pages of questions that you have closed.
