My MickEy mouse platye supposedly had ich so I seperated her. I put her back in main tank and the other Mickey mouse was nudging at her trying to get her to swim. He just sat at the bottom. Then I realized I was nearly positive she had tail/fin rot. So sincE the other Mickey was bothering the sick one, I put her back in hospital tank. She has been in hospital tank since Thursday and I don't think she has eaten. Hut there is food in the tank so maybe she did eat. I have been putting melafix? Or whatever thE fin rot stuff is called along with ich stuff Thursday and Friday. Will she be okay? She just site at the bottom with the occasional swimming. I took the carbon out during treatment. 52 minutes ago - 1 week left to answer. Additional Details I realized it was tail rot today and today was when I put her back, not right when I realized it. I put her back in main tank today because I thought she was just bored because she was by herself which was not the case. She is currently in the hospital tank. 50 minutes ago I have also been using the proper amount of stress coat ( water conditioner ) and the proper amount of stress zyme ( live bacteria ) but the tank has a filter and has been used by fish a lot. But sadly it is not fully cycled because i was worried. It had a goldfish in it before ( hospital tank ) but i cleaned it after his death. It does not have a heater but i make sure the room he is in is around 75 degrees F. 36 minutes ago I checked the main tank and nitrite i think was high so i need a 35% ( yes 35% ) water change and put the proper amount of drops in. So the main tank is now clean and fresh.
